Two generations, one kitchen
Thelma Mae Blanks has been baking from her own recipes for years, sweet potato pie, pound cake, cheesecake, and the fruit and nut breads regulars come back for. Her daughter Mabel Howard opened the storefront on 10th Street so the whole neighborhood could pull up a stool.
Everything at Cafe 7-10 is made in house, the same way it was made at the kitchen table before there was a shop to put it in. Walk-ins are welcome for coffee, a slice, or a full lunch.
