Today's Board

Homemade, Every Morning.

Fresh pastries and drip coffee made daily, the kind of board that changes with what came out of the oven that morning.

House Favorite

"The peanut butter banana chocolate bread is the one people come back for."

Weekly Rhythm

More Than A Coffee Run.

Cafe 7-10 doubles as a living room for the neighborhood, with a standing lineup of events built around the people who show up.

Our Story

Built By Mom And Daughter.

Cafe 7-10 is owned and run by Thelma Mae Blanks and her daughter Mabel Howard, a black-owned small business at the corner of 7th and 10th in downtown Erie.

What started as a coffee counter has grown into a gathering spot, pastries in the morning, poetry on Tuesdays, and a standing invitation to pull up a chair.

"We wanted a place where people would actually stay."
