A chef's kitchen with a farm stand out front

Hills' Homestead is a family-run farm market and eatery on Route 739 in Lords Valley, part of Blooming Grove Township. Linda and Michael Hill opened it after Michael's years as an executive chef in New York City, including at the Helmsley Park Lane, and it shows in the prepared food case as much as the produce bins.

Locals and lake-community residents come through for house-made meals to go, fresh bread, seasonal produce, and cheese, with catering available for gatherings large and small.

"We wanted a place that felt like a farm stand but ate like a real kitchen." — Linda & Michael Hill
