The Shop

Uptown's home team for a fresh cut

Jordan MVP Barbershop sits right on Broadway in Washington Heights, a few steps from the 191st Street subway stop. Regulars know it as Major League Barbers, and the name fits: the chairs are almost never empty, and the shop stays open from 8AM to 11PM, seven days a week, for anyone who needs a fade before work, after school, or on a Sunday afternoon.

The barbers here have built a name on meticulous scissor work and sharp, precise fades, with plenty of patience for first haircuts and squirmy kids. No appointment required. Walk in, take a seat, and get seen.

What the shop doesn't have yet is a home online, just an Instagram page and a couple of booking-app listings. This page is a first step toward giving it one.
